Solutions used in the gravimetric separation process
Easy to use and reliable the hydraulic classifier Lavodune® enables gravimetric separation of solids of different densities.
Gravimetric spirals are also used in this process. Their principle is based on a two-stage operation:
- centrifugal force;
- particle sedimentation.
The less dense particles flow towards the outside of the spiral, while the denser particles remain close to the central axis.
